Our History

Initially founded as the Calgary Insurance Group in 1991, we changed to Canada Brokerlink in 1996 to reflect our extensive network. In 2000 Canada Brokerlink was acquired by Allianz Canada and merged with Oxford Insurance in Alberta and Manley Insurance in Ontario. In 2004 Allianz Canada was purchased by Intact Financial Corporation (formerly ING Canada), making Canada Brokerlink part of a publicly traded, Canadian owned company. As of November 2009, we now operate under our trade name of BrokerLink.

With more than 40 years of experience, over 45 offices across Alberta and Ontario, and more than 600 dedicated employees, Canada Brokerlink finds property and casualty insurance solutions to serve the Personal, Commercial, and Group insurance and Financial Services needs of more than 174,000 clients.
